The Sweet Protection Ronin RIG Reflect Sunglasses are Sweet Protection's high-intensity sport performance eyewear in a semi-frameless format — engineered for riders who want the optical precision of a premium performance lens with a cleaner, lighter profile. Semi-Frameless Design
Where the Shinobi uses a solid lens mount, the Ronin takes a semi-frameless approach — a partial frame at the sides, open top and bottom, anchored by thin temple arms and a minimal nose bridge. The result is an unrestricted, edge-to-edge field of vision with significantly reduced visual obstruction and a cleaner aesthetic profile. Less frame means less weight, less intrusion, and a look that crosses over from sport performance into everyday use without compromise.

RIG® Reflect Lens Technology
The Ronin's 2.2mm machine-edged Toric lens is CNC-machined to Optical Class 1 tolerances — the highest classification for optical clarity. Toric geometry eliminates the distortion that plagues flat-lens designs, delivering consistent, undistorted vision across the full field of view. The Reflect mirror coating handles high-glare conditions, while a super oleophobic and hydrophobic surface treatment repels sweat, rain, and road spray. An embedded anti-fog coating on the inner surface keeps the lens clear under hard effort. Full 100% UV protection is built in as standard.

High-Impact Resistance
At 2.2mm, the Ronin lens is meaningfully thicker than the standard in performance eyewear. That thickness is structural — delivering the rigidity and impact resistance that riders operating at speed need from their eye protection. The semi-frameless design doesn't come at the expense of lens integrity.

TR90 Polyamide Frame
The partial frame and temple arms are constructed from TR90 Polyamide — the same high-performance thermoplastic used across Sweet Protection's range. Lightweight, fatigue-resistant, and dimensionally stable under load, it holds its geometry through hard use without adding unnecessary weight to the overall package.

Quick-Release Lens System
The Ronin's modular construction makes lens changes fast and straightforward — unclip the two side arms, swap the nose piece, change the lens, and clip back in. No tools, no fuss. 

Helmet Compatibility
Like all Sweet Protection cycling eyewear, the Ronin is designed to work in combination with Sweet Protection helmets. The temples are profiled to sit flat against the head without pressure points, and TPR co-moulded inserts on the temples provide grip and retention across extended periods of wear. Three interchangeable nose pieces are included for fit adjustment across different face profiles.

Choosing the Right Ronin RIG® Reflect Model
The Ronin RIG® Reflect is available in four lens variants, each matched to a different range of riding conditions. The lens comes with the frame — so picking right at the point of purchase matters. Sweet Protection's RIG® Reflect lenses are built around VLT (Visible Light Transmission): the percentage of available light reaching the eye. Lower VLT blocks more light for performance in full sun; higher VLT lets more through for clarity when light levels drop. Think about the conditions you ride in most, and choose the lens that fits that reality.

For most UK-based riders, RIG® Reflect Topaz covers the widest range of conditions and will handle the majority of riding days comfortably. If your riding leans heavily towards early starts, winter training, or tree-lined trail riding, RIG® Reflect Bixbite is the stronger call. Aquamarine and Obsidian are the right tools for riders who regularly spend time in strong, consistent sunlight.

DELIVERY

Delivery to mainland UK addresses are free for orders over £40. Except when you choose delivery to a third party (Click and Collect) there is a charge of £5.95 to cover some of the additional cost the couriers charge for this service. If you choose to collect from Fawkes warehouse there is no shipping charge.

There will an additional charge for deliveries to Highlands and Islands. 

RETURNS TO FAWKES

Whether it’s a jersey that doesn’t fit, or the colour is not quite right, sometimes you’ll need to return items to us.

If an item is 'as new' and has not been used or fitted in any way, you can return it to us by post within 90 days of delivery for a refund. Please ensure that the goods are returned in their original packaging and are in an unused condition.

Please pack the item carefully to avoid damaged during shipping.

Customers need to pay the cost of return delivery unless the item is faulty and this will be deducted from your refund, currently £3.95.

If your have a large item e.g. Child seat, Bike, trailer etc. please contact our customer service team at Guy@fawkes-cycles.co.uk to arrange the best way to return your item, the cost will be deducted from your refund.

You will not receive a refund for the retail value of any free or promotional items you are sent, and you will be charged if they are not returned.

UNWANTED ITEMS

If you change your mind on your purchase, you have a full 90 days to return it for a refund. All Goods must be unused, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached.

There are some exclusions to our 90 day returns policy, which are detailed below:

Nutritional products or those with a best before date must be returned within 28 days*

Any customised items such as wheel builds cannot be returned*

GPS systems such as sports watches or cycle computers can only be returned if unregistered*

For hygiene reasons, any intimate garments such as facemasks, underwear and swimsuits can only be returned if the items are faulty.

We try our best to process all refunds within 14 working days. We'll refund your item via your original payment method.

You will not receive a refund for the retail value of any free items you are sent, and Fawkes may charge you for this item if you fail to return it

FAULTY ITEMS

If you feel that your purchase has developed a fault, then please contact us with photographs of the issue before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any further inconvenience.

If you find a fault with your item, send it back to us and we'll take a look at it as soon as we can. Items sent back to us will undergo an inspection and it may be necessary to send the item away to the manufacturer to confirm the fault. If we confirm a manufacturing fault, we'll happily replace or refund it.

Faulty items should be returned within a reasonable time and in a clean and dry condition. PLEASE NOTE, WE WILL NOT PROCESS DIRTY ITEMS.

Please enclose all your details and a covering note explaining the fault and any other useful details.

We'll try to get back to you within 14 working days of receipt of your parcel, although during busy periods this may take slightly longer.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

We reserve the right to recharge return carriage on items where no fault is identified.
