Maxxis Minion DHR II 120 TPI Maxxterra Doubledown Tubeless Tyre - 29 x 2.6 inch

The Maxxis Minion DHR II is the rear-specific half of Maxxis's DHF/DHR II directional pairing, sharing its shoulder-knob shape with the Minion DHF up front while running paddle-style centre knobs tuned for braking traction. This 29 x 2.6in tyre is built in Maxxis's DoubleDown casing, a dual-ply construction aimed at enduro racers and aggressive trail riders who want downhill-level support and puncture protection without the weight of a full DH-casing tyre.

3C MaxxGrip Compound

• Maxxis's softest, stickiest rubber compound, formulated for maximum outright traction
• Slow-rebound characteristics favour grip over rolling speed, particularly on hard, wet or technical ground

DoubleDown Casing

• Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert
• Gives the support and puncture protection of a downhill casing in a lighter package, aimed at enduro racing and aggressive trail riding

Tubeless Ready

• Folding bead, tubeless-ready construction — runs without an inner tube on a tubeless-compatible rim, tape and valve
• Use tubeless-ready, tubeless road or tubular sealant only — Maxxis states sealant used in any other tyre type will void the warranty

Sold as a single tyre. The DoubleDown casing and MaxxGrip compound put this DHR II at the supportive, high-grip end of Maxxis's trail and enduro range.
