Maxxis Minion DHF 60 TPI Maxxterra EXO Folding Tubeless Tyre - 27.5 x 2.5 inch

The Maxxis Minion DHF is Maxxis's benchmark aggressive mountain bike tread, a directional, front-specific pattern that pairs ramped centre knobs for lower rolling resistance with channel-cut side knobs for cornering bite — distinct from Maxxis's non-directional DHX and the rear-specific DHR II. This 27.5 x 2.5in tyre is built in Maxxis's EXO casing with a 60 TPI folding bead and 3C MaxxTerra compound, giving trail and enduro riders the DHF's cornering control with sidewall protection against rocky, technical trails.

3C MaxxTerra Compound

• Latest-generation 3C MaxxTerra formulation, sitting between Maxxis's faster-rolling 3C MaxxSpeed and its softer, grippier 3C MaxxGrip compounds
• Maxxis states the new formulation delivers a 30% increase in durability, a 15% increase in traction, and no loss of rolling efficiency versus the previous-generation 3C MaxxTerra
• Balances grip and rolling speed across loose, loose-over-hard, medium and wet terrain

EXO Puncture Protection

• Densely woven, cut- and abrasion-resistant fabric layer added to the sidewalls
• Lightweight and flexible, so tyre performance is unaffected while sidewalls are shielded on rocky, technical trails
• The lighter of Maxxis's two folding sidewall-protection levels for the Minion DHF, one step below EXO+

Tubeless Ready

• Folding bead, tubeless-ready construction — runs without an inner tube when paired with a tubeless-compatible rim, tape and valve
• Supports lower air pressures for improved traction, lower rolling resistance than a tube-type tyre, and less chance of flatting
• Use tubeless-ready, tubeless road or tubular sealant only — Maxxis states that sealant used in any other tyre type will void the warranty

Sold as a single tyre. The Minion DHF remains Maxxis's reference aggressive-trail front tread, here in a 60 TPI EXO build for riders who don't need a heavier gravity casing.
