The General Cleaner is the 1st product to be released by Proper Cleaner. It's designed primarily for cleaning Push Bikes, but it'll have a good go at most things!
Guy & the team put in over 100 miles a week, with the bikes only getting cleaned at the end of each week. "We always use soft brushes to remove the stubborn stuff, so went for a formulation that is kind to all finishes."
Whether it's a Road, Mountain, Gravel bike, or something in between our General Cleaner is the tool for the job. Just fill your bottle with your own water (750ml), drop in a complete capsule, give it 30 seconds & a shake and it's reet.
The liquid is fully biodegradable, alkaline based & it's not tested on Nigel the Dog or his mates. It's safe to use on all surfaces, including carbon fibre & anodized parts, nor will it affect the performance of your disc brakes. You get 1.5 litres of cleaner, but because we're not shipping you 1.5 litres liquid it has a smaller carbon footprint than other cleaners on the market & the technology behind it is trick!
Adhere to safety instructions on the pouch, do not drink or get into your eyes - aim at what you're cleaning!
Whether it’s a jersey that doesn’t fit, or the colour is not quite right, sometimes you’ll need to return items to us.
Please log on to your account and you will see a Returns button, select this and the option of why you are returning the item, print the form off and include inside the package.
We can only accept returns by post. Customers need to pay the cost of return delivery unless the item is faulty.
If your have a large item eg Bike, trailer. please contact our customer service team at Guy@fawkes-cycles.co.uk to arrange the best way to return your item, the cost will be deducted from your refund.
If you wish to replace an item, the quickest way is to do this is to visit our web site www.fawkes-cycles.co.uk order your replacement item and return the original item to us for a full refund
When returning your item, remember to include the code and size of your replacements.
We'll dispatch your replacements postage free to UK addresses.
We'll turn around your exchange as quickly as we can and subject to stock availability, aim to dispatch your replacements within 7 working days of receiving your return.
Bear in mind that there may be slight delays during busy periods.
You will not receive a refund for the retail value of any free or promotional items you are sent, and you will be charged if they are not returned
If you change your mind on your purchase, you have a full 90 days to return it for a refund. All Goods must be unused, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached.
There are some exclusions to our 90 day returns policy, which are detailed below:

We try our best to process all refunds within 72 hours of receipt, however during busy periods allow 7 working days for your refund. We'll refund your item via your original payment method.
You will not receive a refund for the retail value of any free items you are sent, and Fawkes may charge you for this item if you fail to return it
If you feel that your purchase has developed a fault, then please contact us with photographs of the issue before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any further inconvenience.
If you find a fault with your item, send it back to us and we'll take a look at it as soon as we can. Items sent back to us will undergo an inspection and It may be necessary to send the item away to the manufacturer to confirm the fault. If we confirm a manufacturing fault, we'll happily replace or refund it.
Faulty items should be returned within a reasonable time and in a clean and dry condition. PLEASE NOTE, WE WILL NOT PROCESS DIRTY ITEMS.
Please enclose all your details and a covering note explaining the fault and any other useful details.
We'll try to get back to you within 7 working days of receipt of your parcel, although during busy periods this may take slightly longer.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
We reserve the right to recharge return carriage on items where no fault is identified.
